As part of my role with the Complex and additional Needs team I am working to promote Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) in schools. Different schools are at different places with SEAL and some see it as a tool to manage behaviour. I am trying to explore the value SEAL has, not only on behaviour, but also on Teaching, learning and attainment.
